Fiona Thomas has held senior roles at Sanofi Pasteur, MSD and Biogen before becoming UK Medical Director at Swedish Orphan Biovitrum. She was part of the team that secured reimbursement for all young girls in the UK to be vaccinated against high-risk HPV that has the potential to cause cervical cancer. At KPMG UK, Thomas acts as a senior medical adviser to the consulting firms’ global clients across the healthcare space.
Regina Fritsche Danielson
SVP and Global Head of Research and Early Development for Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism

Regina Fritsche Danielson joined AstraZeneca in 2001. Leading a team of 340 across research in cardiovascular, renal and metabolism biopharmaceuticals, she is responsible for target discovery through clinical proof of concept across small and large molecules and has led significant breakthroughs with a focus on disease modification, regenerative medicine and precision medicine.
Ciara Kennedy

Sorriso Pharmaceuticals
Ciara Kennedy Ph.D. is the CEO of Sorriso, a biotech company developing a pipeline of disease-modifying antibodies for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, including the first oral treatment for these conditions. She played an important role in bringing Savella to market, a drug that treats fibromyalgia. Prior to this she managed drug discovery projects at Biogen and founded Reneo, which focused on genetic mitochondrial illnesses, and Mirum Pharmaceuticals, launching therapies for rare liver disease.
