Anca Ciobanu
Anca Ciobanu has more than 10 years' international management experience creating and leading cross-functional teams across the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, working with large corporations and SMEs. In her role as a consultant at the Pistoia Alliance, a not-for-profit global alliance, she is the Strategic Theme Lead for Improving the Efficiency and Effectiveness of R&D. Her role includes leading global communities of interest in life science and healthcare R&D, including the Pistoia Alliance’s Lab of the Future community.
She also leads the Pistoia Alliance’s Diversity & Inclusion in STEM Leadership program, uniting executives from 16 large pharma companies across 12 countries to develop leadership and mentoring skills and promote diversity in the life sciences work environment.
