Main Conference - Day One

9:10 AM CHAIRPERSON’S OPENING ADDRESS I THE URGENCY OF INNOVATION IN CLINICAL TRIAL SUPPLY CHAINS

The clinical trial supply chain is the backbone of successful drug development, yet inefficiencies in this area often result in costly delays and compromised patient outcomes. In fact, a recent industry report revealed that 45% of clinical trial delays stem from supply chain issues. In his opening address our conference chairperson, Steve Jacobs, discusses the need for smarter, more agile solutions. As trials grow increasingly global and complex, the demand for an optimized, technology-driven supply chain has never been greater.

Key Topics to Address During the Conference:

  • Strategic Planning: Optimizing supply chain operations to anticipate and adapt to trial complexities and patient needs.t The Role of Technology: Leveraging digital tools and data analytics to streamline processes, improve forecasting, and enhance end-to-end visibility.
  • Environmental Sustainability: Advancing green practices that reduce the carbon footprint of clinical supplies while maintaining compliance and reliability.
  • Patient-Centric Approaches & Diversity: Crafting supply strategies that put patients first, respecting diversity and unique site experiences to improve trial accessibility and outcomes.
  • Globalization & Collaboration: Developing frameworks that enhance coordination across borders and cultures, ensuring supply consistency and regulatory adherence worldwide.

10:30 AM POLL YOUR PEERS - BENCHMARKING TECHNOLOGY IN CLINICAL TRIAL SUPPLIES

5:30 PM DAY ONE: CONFERENCE WIDE WRAP UP

We hope the first day of the Clinical Trial Supplies Conference has sparked engaging discussions, unveiled innovative strategies, and offered practical insights into tackling the industry’s key challenges. Now, it’s your turn to share! We invite you, our audience, to reflect on today’s highlights, share the insights you found most compelling, and suggest the conversations you’d like to see carried forward into tomorrow

Main Conference - Day Two

2:30 PM FIRESIDE CHAT - PATIENT CENTRIC LOGISTICS: ALIGNING SUPPLY CHAINS WITH DIVERSITY

Ensuring equitable access to clinical trials and fostering diverse patient participation are critical priorities in today’s global research landscape. Yet logistical challenges continue to impede these goals. Recent data reveals that 70% of patients reside over two hours away from the nearest clinical trial site, underscoring the urgent need for innovative supply chain solutions that address geographic and socioeconomic disparities. This fireside chat will explore actionable strategies to align supply chain operations with trial diversity and accessibility objectives, ensuring that patients receive the treatments they need, regardless of location or background.

Key Topics to Be Addressed Include:

  • Designing Logistics for Diversity: Proven strategies to break down geographic and cultural barriers, expanding trial access for underrepresented populations.
  • Utilizing Data-Driven Insights: How advanced analytics can predict patient needs and optimize supply chain decisions across diverse demographics.
  • Balancing Cost and Accessibility: Effective approaches to maintain affordability while delivering high standards of patient-centred logistics.
