Rajanikanth (Raj) Bandaru

Rajanikanth (Raj) Bandaru holds a doctoral degree (PhD) in Chemistry with extensive experience in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in USA and Canada. Raj comes to Accenture with more than 20 years of experience in the Regulatory Affairs. In his last position in the pharmaceutical industry Raj has worked mainly towards regulatory submission of targeted therapeutics in cancer, antisense and orphan drugs based on enzyme replacement and gene therapy. In this position, Raj is responsible for coordinating both FDA and global health authority meetings and is the first point of contact for various stakeholders. Major tasks include active contribution to the developmental Regulatory Affairs work from early development on, participating at strategic regulatory decision-making and training staff on regulatory requirements, compliance and new developments. Prior experience also includes Consultancy to pharmaceutical and device companies with regulatory submissions, process validation and technology transfer. Raj has more than twenty publications in peer reviewed international science journals and issued patents to his credit. Raj has also received several industry and research awards while working in USA and Canada.
