Dr Amrik Mahal has 25 years’ experience working in the pharmaceutical sector, primarily in Research & Development, having worked for AstraZeneca, Glaxo Wellcome, and Evotec. He is currently the Global Head of IT for Early Science at AstraZeneca accountable for developing and driving the IT strategy, partnering with the R&D senior leaders and delivery of projects and services to discovery and development scientists covering a wide range of scientific applications and end user disciplines. He has a proven ability to successfully provide leadership of teams across multiple domains, internally and externally with academia and industry.
