Philip Chi

Associate Director AstraZeneca

Philip is an Associate Director, for the Biopharmaceutical Development department within AstraZeneca. He received his BS (Biology) from University of Maryland, Baltimore County and his MS (Project Management) from the University of Maryland. Philip started his 17+ year career as an analytical scientist before transitioning to a role in informatics and automation project management. He has led project teams or acted as an IT business liaison for the implementation of a variety of informatics solutions (including business critical LIMS and eLN applications) across AstraZeneca and MedImmune. He currently leads a team focused on the planning, development, and implementation of informatics and automation solutions to meet Biopharmaceutical Development’s growing digitalization needs.
